I love homeschooling, cozy cottagecore decor, the colors mint green and peachy pink, wearing skirts/dresses, whimsigoth cottage grunge style, Victoria magazine, drinking hot tea, British TV, music that spans Enya to indie rock to Taylor Swift, playing guitar, history, gardening, swinging in a hammock, amassing a large book collection, sunshine, vanilla anything, coconut pineapple smoothies, Anglican liturgy, family, graphic designing, making costumes, collecting cute dolls and vintage toys, finding foods that don't make me feel crappy, natural health, herbs and aromatherapy, seeing children as a blessing, entrepreneurship, going on cruises (6 so far), taking photos of my kids and flowers, and watching movies and TV.
Three of my kids are all adults, I have a couple years left as a homeschooling mom after 20 years to my youngest son. I've blogged for a long time but this one is a fresh slate for me to explore everything else that I'm interested in, and rediscover what I have to offer in midlife.
I have minor chronic illnesses. I don't eat gluten, and eat a high protein, lower carb, low sugar diet. Some weeks I feel like doing nothing but sit on the sofa with a book or my tablet. Other weeks, my home is clean and beautiful, my Etsy orders are sent out early, and feel on top of the world. I have strong faith and contentment, but am a classic INFP/phlegmatic/melancholic, and my ideals sometimes feel burdensome. If you've stopped by here, I pray you leave having found something that is encouraging or points to Jesus.
